How Do I Order A Copy of A Photo I have Seen?

Here's how to get it—either as a digital copy or printed on a range of awesome products.

Step 1: Choose Your Photo

Browse all images on my Facebook page:

Find the photo you'd like to purchase.

Step 2: Choose Your Product

Come back to this website and pick how you’d like your photo:

  • For printed products, check out the menu Printing Options 
  • For digital copies, go to the Digital Images section.
  • You can also browse the Merchandise section for ready-made designs.

Step 3: Purchase

Pay securely on the website using a credit/debit card or AfterPay.
Prefer to pay by bank transfer? Just message me and I’ll send you the details.

Step 4: Let Me Know

Once you've paid, send me a quick message—either through Facebook Messenger or the contact form here—with a screenshot of the photo and let me know what you've ordered.

Step 5: Sit Back and Wait

Nic will get it all organised for you, and once ready to go, she will send a confirmation with tracking information. 

Can I ask for something different done to the photo before I purchase?

Yes, If you’d like anything added, removed, or changed from the Facebook preview image, please get in touch as soon as possible and let me know what you have in mind.

This could be a black-and-white or sepia finish, removing small distractions (like a friend’s elbow on the window frame), or other tweaks to help the image look its best.

I’m able to make a wide range of edits, and if it’s something I haven’t done before, I’m more than happy to attempt it prior to purchase and confirm whether it can be achieved.

Can I share your images without paying for them?

You’re more than welcome to share my images on social media, provided my logo remains visible and unaltered. I only ask this because each image represents a significant investment of time, skill, and expense on my part.

Sharing the image costs you nothing, which I’m happy with. However, removing my logo removes the credit for the work involved and makes it unclear who created the image and put in the effort to achieve that final result — which is the very reason many people choose to share it.

All I ask is that my name and logo remain intact, so the work can be properly credited. It’s a small request that allows my work to be recognised and supports me as a professional photographer.

Is the copy of the image on Facebook or Instagram, the exact image I receive?

Not exactly, but as close as possible. The images shared on Facebook are edited individually and to a high standard, but they are often completed more quickly. With a large volume of photos and no way of knowing which images will be purchased, I don’t apply the full, in-depth finishing process to every image at that stage.

Once an image is purchased as a print or digital copy, it receives my full attention. I then take a slower, more methodical approach — refining colours, removing distractions, minimising small marks where possible, and enhancing details — to ensure your pride and joy truly shines the way it should.

Are you are qualified Photographer?

Yes. I completed my Diploma of Photography in 2022 and continue to develop my skills through ongoing learning and real-world experience. Photography is a craft that never stops evolving, and I’m always learning new techniques, refining my editing, and exploring creative ways to present my images.

What do you do differently?

Every photographer works differently — this is my approach. Each image I deliver is individually edited, never batch-processed. I treat automotive images the same way glamour photographers treat portraits, refining every detail with care and creativity.

This process gives Nic’s Pics its signature look and is why my photography is priced as a professional service, not a hobby.

Can you come to an event I have and photograph it for our club?

Yes, I’d love to support your event and capture photos for you.
If the event is local, I’m generally happy to attend at no charge. For events outside the area, depending on the situation, I may need to charge a fee to help cover travel and associated costs. I’m always happy to discuss this with you and find an arrangement we’re both comfortable with.

If you’re running a charity event or supporting a worthwhile cause, I’m often more than happy to donate my time and services where possible.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept the following credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, Debit Card & AfterPay

Can I place an order without creating an account?

Yes. You can place an order as a guest with no obligation to create an account. We do recommend that you create an account, however, if you’d like to check your order history and have your shopping basket items and payment details saved for next time. 

Where is my order confirmation?

This is automatically sent to your email address when you place an order. If you haven’t received your order confirmation within 24 hours, please get in touch at info@nicspicsphotography.co.nz just in case there’s a problem with your order. Please check your mailbox’s spam or junk folder before contacting in case the order confirmation has been diverted there.

Why has my order been canceled?

We typically only cancel orders if there’s a problem with stock, or if you’ve asked us to cancel. Please accept our apologies if your order is canceled because of a problem at our end. We’ll always offer an alternative product and process your refund in full, as quickly as possible.

How do I cancel my order?

There is only a short amount of time between when you place your order and when we start processing it. As most items are designed one off items, they are unable to be returned for a refund. 

If the item is an "Merchandise" product and is faulty, we reserve the right to offer a replacement as the first remedy. If the replacement item is also faulty, a refund will be issued on return. 

Can I alter my order?

Sadly, we’re unable to modify your order once we’ve started processing it. If you need to order a greater quantity or an additional product, please place a new order online.

When will my order arrive?

Depending on the season, orders can take between 2-7 days to be printed, they are then are couriered out to you via NZ Courier's Overnight service.

If you are rural delivery, this then gets handed over to your Rural Delivery service and should be delivered to you within 3 days. 

If you are ordering prior to Christmas, we recommend placing your order by the 15th December in order to guarantee delivery prior to Christmas. 

What countries do you ship to?

Currently, We only ship within New Zealand. This is due to the commercial printer shipping direct to the customer & they don't offer International Shipping, so to post overseas, would then increased shipping costs by having it shipped within NZ and then again to ship to an international address.

How much is shipping?

Shipping costs depend on the value of items you have purchased.

To keep it simple, they are based of prices as below.

$0.00 - $25.00 = $8.99

$25.01 - $70.00 = $14.99

$70.01 - $120 = $19.99

$120.01 and over = $29.99

Can I track my order?

Yes. We’ll provide tracking information in your delivery confirmation email, you’ll receive a tracking reference which you can use to check the progress of your order online.

Can I return or exchange an item?

If the item is a personalised item, please note, there is no ability to return for an exchange or refund. We will provide a replacement should the item be faulty in anyway, however due to the nature of this service, I am unable to provide refunds, exchanges or credit's for personalised items.

If you have purchased an "Merchandise" item, if faulty, I will first offer a replacment. If the replacement is also faulty, I will then issue a refund. 

I do not offer refunds for "change of minds". 

My order has arrived but it’s not as I expected. What can I do?

In the rare event that your order arrives damaged or faulty, please take photos of the product in question and contact me via info@nicspicsphotography.co.nz with the details. I will respond within 48 hours. We will then offer to first replace the item. 

Unfortunately we do not offer refunds for "Change of Minds".

What is the quality of your printing?

I have opted to utilise a Commercial Quality printing company, as they have the technology & the industrial high grade professional printers that provide amazing quality prints. The printers ship directly to you after printing, to save on shipping costs & time. This company is currently based in Auckland.

What size photo is needed for printing?

The table below is a guide only for the MINIMUM resolution required to produce a reasonable quality canvas print.
